Prof. M. G. Finn, Chair of the School of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Georgia Institute of Technology, delivered a public talk entitled, “Research as a Career: Publishing and Other Matters" on February, 7, 2017. In this public talk, Prof. Finn talked about scientific publishing (introduction and basics, peer review, copyrights and ethics of scholarly publishing, and what editors look for). Prof. Finn blended this with a bit of personal history.
